Polish master machines are used to finely machine the copper cylinder for a fine surface finish degree. After the cylinder finished its fine machining, it can be installed in engraving machines for patter engraving. Polish master tools , are precision diamond tools, which are installed on Polish master machines to process the copper layer on the cylinder. There are generally three cutters allocated in the Polish master machine—— Rough Cutter, Fine Cutter and Side Milling Tool. The rough cutter is used for rough machining copper surface of the cylinder, the fine cutter is used for fine machining and the side milling tool is for profile machining to the end of the cylinder. The common polish master machines are 13# and 21# and their difference is the revolution speed. 13# Polish master machine is low speed and 21# polish master machine is high speed.

Blade Test

Place the rough cutter in the measuring apparatus for blade straightness and verticality to the standard axis, this is to guarantee the surface waviness of machined cylinder.

Parallelism Test

Place the fine cutter in the measuring apparatus for blade straightness and parallelism to the standard plane, this is to guarantee the surface waviness of machined cylinder.
